Carrowmena hoping to raise vital funds for a great cause on Saturday 10th August!
Carrowmena Activity Centre will be using the infamous Maize Maze to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Carrowmena launched its Maize Maze in 2012 and the quirky activity grows in popularity with each new season, providing all ages with something different to enjoy each Summer. Priced at £4pp or £15 per family, the Maize is a great challenge to take on any day this Summer.
“Our Maize Maze is the most popular activity and is well known locally” said Manager Kieran McCool, “so it made sense that we use it to raise funds for a cause as wonderful as Cancer Research”.
Carrowmena Activity Centre hosts many events throughout the year with many guests making a ‘getaway’ of it in the various accommodation options such as Glamping Pods & Bell Tents. But this event is very different as its sole purpose will be to raise money with all proceeds going directly to the charity.
Limavady CRUK Committee Chairman, Houston Magee said, “Cancer Research UK pioneer research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. With no government funding, progress depends on your donations. The Limavady CRUK committee thank Carrowmena activity centre for their help. Please come and take on the maze challenge, have fun and help raise some money.”
Carrowmena Maize Maze Charity Fundraiser takes place on Saturday 10th August 2019.
